Strong Winds Leave Large Piles of Ice on Minnesota Lake Shores

Strong winds caused ice to pile up on the shores of lakes in western Minnesota on March 30.

Wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour pushed ice off the top of the lake and moved it to the eastern shore, according to reports, creating the spectacle for residents and visitors to Otter Tail County.
