Strong Winds From Hurricane Eta Batter San Andres as Storm Bears Down on Nicaragua

Strong winds were felt on the Colombia island of San Andres as Hurricane Eta closed in on November 2.

Category Four Hurricane Eta brought flooding rain and powerful winds to Central America on November 2, reportedly bringing down power lines in Honduras.

Catastrophic wind damage and life-threatening storm surge was anticipated in the northeastern coast of Nicaragua by the National Hurricane Center.
