Strong Winds Exacerbate Wildfire in Abruzzo Forest
Italian firefighters said strong winds were adding to their difficulties as they attempted to control a wildfire that broke out in Maiella National Park in Abruzzo on Sunday.
Video posted by Italy’s firefighting service on September 15 shows helicopters working to extinguishing the wildfire, which affected the Pescara side of Maiella National Park in the Abruzzo region.
