‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Teaser Shows Eleven and Will’s Life Beyond Hawkins

·2-min read

Netflix debuted a “Stranger Things” Season 4 teaser in honor of “Stranger Things Day” — Nov. 6, the same day the sci-fi drama character Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) first went missing in Hawkins, Ind. in 1983. The new season will launch summer 2022.

In it, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Will are living new lives in California, where Eleven seems to be having a hard time adjusting, although she doesn’t admit that when writing to Mike (Finn Wolfhard). Her letter serves as narration for the teaser, which you can watch below.

“I even like school now. I have made lots of friends,” she says, as she’s ignored by peers in the school hallway. “Even so, I am ready for spring break, mostly because I get to see you. We will have the best spring break ever.”

The teaser ends in a montage of classic “Stranger Things” chaos: explosions, car chases, a creepy doll, a military arrest and more. The song “A Place In California” by Jeremiah Burnham plays in the background as the teaser comes to a close.

Netflix also confirmed the Season 4 episode titles. They are “The Hellfire Club,” “Vecna’s Curse,” “The Monster and the Superhero,” “Dear Billy,” “The Nina Project,” “The Dive,” “The Massacre At Hawkins Lab,” “Papa” and “The Piggyback.” You can see another sneak peek at the new season and these titles below.

“Stranger Things Day” further celebrated the show, its creative team and its fans by releasing the first official map of Hawkins, which was created by artist Kyle Lambert and can be seen below, as well as sharing fan art on the official social media channels for the show. Randy Havens hosted a tour of the first “Stranger Things” pop-up stores opening in Los Angeles and New York City on the “Stranger Things” Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts, as well. And the “Stranger Things” cast got into the spirit of the day by putting together a social media-friendly transformation video of them getting into their characters’ new season looks.
