Stranger Things fans are known for being some of the biggest sleuths on the internet. Which is why it's no surprise to see that they might have uncovered a really big character return that might change the game.

While the rest of us didn't think twice about the special table read video that Netflix uploaded earlier this year, one Reddit fan looked a little bit closer to uncover a familiar face that hasn't been seen since season one.

Reddit user LastWarrior24 posted a photo from the video possibly showing actor Ross Patridge at the table reading for season four. Ross previously appeared in season one as Lonnie Byers, Will and Jonathan's father and Joyce's ex-husband.

While it hasn't been confirmed whether or not he'll be making an official return to the show in the next season, it probably wouldn't be too surprising to see him back in the picture, especially since Joyce and her family moved away from Hawkins after Hopper's presumed death.

Since then, it's been revealed that Hopper is very much alive, just living as a prisoner in Russia. However, this newfound evidence could mean that Joyce got back together with Lonnie after being so heartbroken over Hopper's death.

With production currently paused due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what exactly Lonnie is doing back in the Byers' lives.

Until then, we'll just have to hope that the reason he's back is good and not bad for everyone involved.
