Stranded cattle herd transported back to safety via boat in northern China

A boat transported a herd of 160 cattle that were trapped on an island due to the rising water level in northern China. The heroic video, filmed in the city of Heihe in Heilongjiang Province on June 23, shows rescuers using a boat to transport the cattle from an island in the middle of a river to the shore. Since the water level rose gradually, a herd of cattle became trapped on an island in the middle of a river. Local officers and residents used a boat to transport the cattle to the shore in around 4 hours, avoiding an around £300,000 financial loss for the villagers.
