Storms moved across portions of Alabama on Wednesday, May 25, bringing flooding to some areas.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said thunderstorms would continue across much of central Alabama on Thursday from 11 am to 8 pm.

Threats include hail, damaging wind gusts, and a potential tornado, the NWS said. Locally heavy rainfall, as well as flooding in low-lying areas, could also occur.
