Storms Bring Dramatic Lightning to Central Kentucky

Lighting flashed over portions of Kentucky on Wednesday, July 27, as the National Weather Service forecast showers, thunderstorms and flooding.

This video from by Wendell Combs shows the storm over Bryantsville, a community close to Danville and Lancaster.

The National Weather Service said flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall was possible. Showers and thunderstorms were expected to develop and move over the region into Thursday morning, the service said. Credit: @wendellcombs via Storyful
