Storm Turns Eastern Tennessee Mountain Stream Into Raging River
Storms and showers moving through Tennessee prompted the National Weather Service (NWS) to warn residents about potential “localized flooding” on the evening of Tuesday, July 12.
This footage posted to Twitter by user Beth Emerson shows a mountain stream raging through Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Emerson wrote that the stream “was calm before the storm …. Now it’s roaring!!!!!!!” Others in the area also took to social media to share footage of the flash floods.
