Storm Chaser Captures Mesmerising Supercells in South Dakota

A storm chaser captured timelapse footage of supercells churning near Faith, South Dakota, on Saturday, July 10.

Storms swept through large parts of South Dakota on Saturday, with the National Weather Service (NWS) reporting about one inch of rain in the Mount Rushmore State’s capital, Sioux Falls.

This footage by Parker Koppes of Pawnee Storm Chasers shows lightning flashing and dark storm clouds gliding above green plains.
