Steven Ma wants to study Chinese medicine
24 Aug – Hong Kong singer-actor Steven Ma recently revealed that he has plans to enrol in another study as soon as he completed his Master's programme.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke to the media at the press conference of his upcoming concert, shared that he intends to complete his Executive MBA programme at the Peking University next year and get right into studying Chinese medicine.
"I hope to take a course on Chinese medicine for at least five years. We are currently considering to enrol in a school in Macau for it," he said.
Asked what drove him to get involved in the said field, Steven said that he read a lot and made a lot of research about the necessary diet for his late mother when she was battling cancer.
"I felt that studying Chinese medicine may help others. I hope to open an organic farm after I retire where I can grow my own herbs," he said.
