Stephen Fung cherishes experience producing "Into the Badlands"

12 Feb – With the AMC's "Into the Badlands" airing its final eight episodes this March, co-producer Stephen Fung recently expressed his thoughts about saying goodbye to their American TV series.

As reported on Mingpao, Stephen, who also co-directed some of the episodes and was the action director for the show, expressed pride over having realised his dream of bringing the project to life.

"We are very proud of the show. Though we are very reluctant about saying goodbye, we hope that all of us can work together again in future," he said.

Stephen admitted that one of the most challenging parts of doing the show was communicating with various groups of people and dealing with all the red tapes.

"It involves a lot of union rules and security issues, and everybody has different definition of security. So it took a lot of time to gain trust from all sides," he said.

However, he is proud to be able to bring the Chinese action team to the international stage and worked with various nationalities in the show.

The final eight episode of the current season of "Into the Badlands" will premiere on 24 March.
