"Steel Rain: Summit" is a follow-up to 2017's "Steel Rain", which starred Jung Woo-sung and Kwak Do-won. It was based on director Yang's 2011 webtoon of the same name.

While both Jung and Kwak returned for the sequel, neither reprised their previous respective roles. In this second movie, Jung plays President Han Kyeong-jae and Kwak plays Supreme Guard Command Chief.

The second instalment follows President Han who gathers with the North Korean President (Yoo) and the US President (Angus Macfadyen) for a summit. Things do not go as expected when the presidents are taken and held captive in a nuclear-powered submarine. President Han must now solve the crisis before war erupts.

"Steel Rain: Summit" is set to open in several more territories soon, including Singapore next week and Malaysia on this 20 August.
