Steady Snowfall on Winter Solstice in Washington State

Snowfall was seen in parts of Washington state on the evening of Monday, December 21, after heavy downpours of rain earlier in the day.

Video posted by the City of Duvall’s Twitter account shows what they said was “steady” snowfall.

The National Weather Service said the snow was the result of a cold batch of air behind a weather front that dumped heavy rain on the Puget Sound region. Credit: City of Duvall via Storyful
