Stars marked Diwali on Nov. 12, 2023, coming together to celebrate one of Hinduism's biggest and most significant holidays that honors the triumph of good over evil. The holiday lasts five nights, reaching its peak on day three, and will end on Nov. 14.
Those who celebrate Diwali partake in a number of practices and rituals with different symbolic meanings throughout the span of the holiday. This year, stars like Padma Lakshmi and Mindy Kaling gathered for food and friendship, wearing stunning saris and other traditional items of dress to mark the occasion. See their photos here.
