Starbucks Free Drinks Are Back This Week — and There's a New Lavender Crème Frappuccino

The Starbucks buy-one-get-one-free promo returns on Thursday

The drink deals keep coming at Starbucks, and so do new lavender beverages.

Customers can use the coffee company’s buy-one-get-one-free discount on Thursday to try the new limited-time lavender Frappuccino (or whatever drink you choose).

Just like last week, Starbucks rewards members can score a free drink from noon until 6 p.m. on March 21 with the purchase of one regular priced drink. You can use the promo in the Starbucks app when ordering on mobile or by asking a barista to apply it during an in-store checkout.

No matter how the drinks are ordered, the freebie offer is the perfect chance to try Starbucks floral-flavored beverages. The chain introduced lavender for the first time in March with the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte.

Now the latest drink with the new flavor is the Lavender Créme Frappuccino: a caffeine-free blended drink. Lavender and vanilla syrup are blended with milk and ice and topped with whipped cream in the seasonal drink.

Fans can also add the spring taste to any menu item with lavender cream cold foam. Starbucks suggests adding it as a customization to their iced chai tea latte, but it can be used to top any beverage.

The Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha is another floral and tea combination. The visually-stunning drink combines green tea with oat milk and lavender cream cold foam. The Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte is a plant-based option that combines lavender powder mixed into blonde espresso.

Wendy’s is also updating its menu with a springy treat.

On Wednesday, the burger spot announced their latest Frosty flavor: orange dreamsicle. It will be available starting on March 19.

Just like the brand does with all of their seasonal flavors, the orange dreamsicle will replace the vanilla Frosty temporarily and join the chocolate Frosty on the menu.
