A police standoff in Torrance, California, with the suspect of a deadly mass shooting in Monterey Park on Lunar New Year’s Eve “has concluded”, Los Angeles County’s Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) said on Sunday afternoon, January 22.
Police surrounded a van that matched witness descriptions of the suspect’s vehicle earlier in the day. At publication, officials had not confirmed if the suspect was alive.
