You already know we're big fans of Standard Issue's tees around these parts. (And we're not the only ones.) The West Coast brand has long since earned itself a reputation for churning out the sort of perfectly pared-down essentials you've probably been living in since nationwide WFH orders hit Slack channels across the country earlier this year. Its ultra-comfy loungewear always manages, somehow, to hew the right amount off-center while remaining eminently wearable.

So if you found yourself blearily scouring the world wide web in the wee hours of the morning throughout this past weekend looking for something (anything!) thoughtful to gift your loved ones this holiday season, scour no longer. Rest those bleary eyes. Because there is a slim-to-zero chance anything's going to arrive in time anyways, so now it's time to give yourself a break and embrace the belated-gifting mindset. And Standard Issue's soap and tee set—a standout oddity among the site's deep repository of delightfully restrained goodies—is exactly the sort of belated gift we can all enjoy.

Each of the sets, which are made in collaboration with the master soapers at Iron Lion and the UK-based design studio Boredom Kills Creative, includes three custom color matched tees and three corresponding handmade cold-processed bar soaps, along with a trio of nifty stickers thrown in for good measure. (And all at a bargain price, to boot!)

A few bars of soap and some tees might seem like slightly odd bedfellows at first glance, but on further inspection the combination doesn't seem so odd at all. I mean, c'mon: what could be better than giving your loved ones—or, let's be real, yourself—a gift akin to the sensation of toweling off after a long shower and then promptly throwing on a tee so freshly-laundered it's still warm from the dryer?

Tees? So last year. Soap? Please. But tees and soap?! *Insert galaxy brain meme here* Really want to impress your loved ones with your ingenuity this year? Gift them Standard Issue's soap and t-shirt set and watch their heads explode in a thrilling display of sheer stupefied satisfaction. Because any gift that has to stipulate "plants not included" in the product copy is a winning one in my book.

Happy holidays, y'all. Don't scrub too hard out there.
