Hello, dear readers, and welcome to Very Good Pants Day here at Esquire. We started off this morning with some (you guess it) very good pants, and now we come to the second part of our programming special. On the docket? Oh, come on, man. You know this one. Let me give you a moment.
Got it? Thought so. More very good pants! This time around, they come courtesy of the fine folks over at Standard Issue, the makers of some of our favorite tees and now, the bottoms to pair with 'em. The company just released three new takes on its signature Slacker Pant, a wider-legged, cropped style that delivers all the comfort you'd expect from your favorite sweats with a look that's a little closer to a trouser, but still decidedly easygoing. There's a lightweight, ripstop camo; a (somewhat) subdued plaid in Japanese cotton; and a wool-blend tweed that looks like fall somehow managed to transform into a pair of pants. And that's just the most recent stuff to hit the (virtual) shelves. Still up for grabs, too, are six different colors of the brand's Standard Slacker Pant, which features a small hit of branding at the left thigh and hues ranging from a washed-down gray called "Concrete" to classic black.
Still reading? That's fantastic. I appreciate you, truly I do. But now it's time to start shopping, because as with all of Standard Issue's limited releases, this one is selling out as we speak. Better get moving.
