Sorry, but we’re not planning to take down our Christmas trees anytime soon. Why should we when there are so many other holidays we can decorate them for? Now that we’ve taken down our Valentine’s Day-inspired trees, it’s time to move onto a holiday that is filled with corned beef, cabbage, and a whole lot of booze.

People are making it very clear how proud they are to be Irish (or, if they’re not, how much they really love beer and whiskey) with St. Patrick’s Day trees. The good news here is that your artificial tree works perfectly, since it’s already green. All that’s left to do is add extra green, orange, and gold decorations to bring it to life!

Not sure where to get started? Ornaments are always easy to stick on a tree, so go with ones that look like shamrocks, rainbows, leprechauns, and gold coins. You can also weave some ribbon through the branches or let them fall vertically from the top. For the topper, you can get a giant shamrock or a grab a St. Patrick’s Day hat. We love the idea of bringing all the decorations together with gold tinsel — plus it adds some shine like a leprechaun’s pot of gold!

You can make your tree super chic or more fun and over-the-top, but either way, these Kelly green masterpieces are sure to put a smile on your face every time you see it! Below, get some inspiration for your own creation from people who have already done it.
