Merseyside Police, however, said “the vast majority” who turned up adhered to social distancing guidelines.
The match was allowed to proceed behind closed doors amid England’s lockdown because of its elite sport status.
Merseyside Police said there was a “small gathering” as the teams’ coaches arrived. People were then asked to disperse, they said.
