Spring Snow Disrupts Schools and Travel in South of England
Schools were closed and bin collections and rail travel disrupted in Kent, England, after a spring cold snap turned into snow on Wednesday, March 8.
Footage recorded by @malamuteandpolo shows Baron the malamute dog enjoying a thick layer of snow on the ground near Sevenoaks, Kent.
Several Kent schools, including Sevenoaks School and West Heath School, said on Facebook that they would be closed on Wednesday.
Local media also reported disruptions to bin collections and rail travel in the county.
