Spouses, dependents who registered via MySejahtera separately can request joint Covid-19 jab appointment
KUALA LUMPUR, April 19 — Spouses and their dependents who registered for their Covid-19 vaccinations via the MySejahtera app separately can request joint appointments, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said today.
“We have given and we will give the appointments together. However, for those who registered separately, for example the husband registered with MySejahtera on his own and the wife registered with MySejahtera on her own, there is a possibility they will get different appointments.
“That’s why I want to say that they can call our hotline to request that the appointment for spouses in phase two, or their dependents or other individuals who are eligible to receive the vaccination under phase two, to be given appointments on the same date and at the same time to make it easier for them to go to the vaccination centres.
He said that there have been requests for joint appointments for husbands and wives who registered as dependents under MySejahtera.
Khairy was speaking at a joint press conference with Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba in Putrajaya.
The event, on the first day of the second phase of the National Immunisation Programme, was broadcast live on Facebook.
