Sparks Fly as Stolen Car Loses Tires During Queensland Police Chase
Sparks were literally flying during a police chase along the Pacific Motorway in Queensland overnight between December 15 and 16 as a stolen car continued despite losing two front tires when a stinger was deployed.
Polair footage released by Queensland Police shows the vehicle losing its two front tires, after which it starts leaving a trail of sparks in its wake.
The driver was tracked along the Pacific Motorway between Coomera and Beenleigh, where the car eventually came to a halt.
Queensland Police arrested a 29-year-old man and charged him with four offenses, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a license. The man was refused bail. Nine News said.
