Spanish Air Force Helps Tackle Wildfires in Turkey

Spanish Air Force pilots took to the skies above Turkey on August 4, as the fight to contain deadly wildfires continued in the country’s southwest.

This footage, released by the air force, shows the view from a firefighting aircraft deployed from Spain’s 43rd Air Force Group.

The EU deployed three firefighting aircraft, from Spain and Croatia, which were available as part of a European effort to fight summer fires.

The craft joined teams from Russia, Iran, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan.
