SpaceX Launches Upgraded Satellites From Cape Canaveral

SpaceX said it launched 54 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit on Wednesday, December 28, in what was the company’s 60th mission of the year.

Footage posted to Twitter by user @Andromeda7711 shows the early-morning launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The satellites were the first of the company’s upgraded network sent into orbit. SpaceX said the upgraded satellites can deploy to new orbits for faster service. Credit: @Andromeda7711 via Storyful
