SpaceX Launches First of Its Upgraded Satellites From Cape Canaveral

SpaceX said it launched 54 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit on Wednesday, December 28, in what was the company’s 60th launch of the year.

Footage captured by Florida resident John Concilus shows the early-morning launch from Cape Canaveral Space Space Force Station.

The satellites were the first of the company’s upgraded network sent into orbit, which SpaceX said can deploy to new orbits for faster service. Credit: John Concilus via Storyful
