‘South Park: Joining the Panderverse’ First Look Sees Cartman Afraid Disney Will Replace Him With ‘Diverse Women Complaining About the Patriarchy’
Paramount+ has released a first-look clip of the event special “South Park: Joining the Panderverse.”
The opening of the clip (which can be seen below) sees Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny being played by a group of diverse women. As it turns out, the whole sequence is a nightmare of Cartman’s. His mother tries to comfort him, but he insists she check under the bed to make sure “there’s no Disney executives under there,” namely Kathleen Kennedy.

“Joining the Panderverse” is available now on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada. It will premiere on Oct. 28 in the U.K. and Australia and other international markets afterwards. The official logline states, “Cartman’s deeply disturbing dreams portend the end of the life he knows and loves. The adults in South Park are also wrestling with their own life decisions as the advent of AI is turning their world upside down.”
“Joining the Panderverse” is now the fifth such “South Park” special event on Paramount+. The others are: “South Park: Post Covid,” “South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid,” “South Park: The Streaming Wars,” and “South Park: The Streaming Wars: Part 2.”
“South Park” celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022. Comedy Central has already renewed the show through 2027, which will mark its 30th season on the air. The series is co-created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The pair also serve as executive producers along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers. Christopher Brion is the Creative Director of South Park Digital Studios.
