South Florida Neighborhoods Flooded by Tropical Storm Eta

Tropical Storm Eta caused flooding across South Florida in the early hours of November 9, with 14 to 15 inches of floodwater reported in some areas.

The National Weather Service warned that strong wind gusts and torrential rainfall remained a concern by November 9.

Christian Horton shared this footage from Pembroke Pines, showing the extent of the flooding in his neighborhood on Monday morning.

CBS reported that many South Florida residents experienced power outages on Monday. Florida Power and Light said that 9,070 customers were without power in Miami-Dade, and 8,730 customers in Broward. Schools in South Florida were closed. Credit: Christian Horton via Storyful
