South African President visits scene of fire that broke out at Parliament

South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, visited the scene of the fire that broke out at the parliament building in Cape Town early on Sunday morning. The alarm was raised at 5 am. The president said they will investigate how the blaze spread from the old assembly building to the National Assembly building. Ramaphosa announced that one person has been taken into custody in connection with the fire. Firefighters are still trying to extinguish the major blaze.
