Sources: Nuggets to start Will Barton, Monte Morris for Game 4

DENVER — The Denver Nuggets intend to shake things up heading into Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns by inserting guards Will Barton and Monte Morris into the starting lineup, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Consistent scoring in the first unit has been problematic all series long.

Phoenix is up 3-0 in the Western Conference semifinals round with a chance to close the series out Sunday night on the road.

Barton returned from a hamstring injury in Game 2 after being sidelined since April 23. He’s been a huge spark off the bench in limited action.

Morris scored 21 points off the bench in Game 3.

Nuggets coach Michael Malone was previously going with Facundo Campazzo and Austin Rivers in the backcourt.

If Denver is successful in getting a win Sunday, Game 5 will be in Phoenix on Tuesday.
