Ever since her debut as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones when she was a teenager, Sophie Turner was thrust into stardom and practically grew up onscreen as the epic fantasy TV Series continued from 2011 to its 2019 finale. While some of the original cast didn't survive to season eight, Sansa was one of few Starks to make it to the very end of the show and (spoiler alert) becomes Queen in the North in the finale. Outside of Thhones, Turner has already made a name for herself with a stint in the X-Men series and other great projects.

They were the youngest of the child cast of the Stark family who joined the show from the very first episode, and pretty much every other elder Stark would find themselves killed off by the end, besides Jon Snow, of course.

Turner's role as Sansa was her first major acting role, and she worked hard developing the role for a long time before it came out. She was first cast in 2009, and the show was filmed a year later in the second half of 2010.

Turner lived with the role of Sansa for a while before audiences saw her as it, and she along with the rest of the cast was praised by both new fans of the series and longtime readers of A Song of Ice And Fire.

While they would spend most of the show separated, Williams and Turner were close friends on the Game of Thrones set since they joined the cast at similar ages.

In a Rolling Stone video, they revealed that they screen-tested together as part of their auditions for the show, and Turner said they had "undeniable" chemistry together.

Turner has also said that she keeps up readily with her co-star Kit Harington aka Jon "you-know-nothing" Snow.

Harington praised Turner in a 2019 Comic-Con panel and went on to say about all the Stark sibling actors: "We became like actual siblings, we would literally fight each other. We have a very sibling relationship.

Turner's film debut was in the film Another Me (Spanish: Mi otro yo), a psychological drama by Spanish director Isabel Coixet. She stars as a high school student who begins encountering her Doppelgänger in her hometown.

Turner had a side hustle of audiobook narration for a couple of years, reading the Lev Grossman short story "The Girl in the Mirror," in 2013 as well as recording the full audiobook for the Y.A. fantasy novel City of Heavenly Fire the next year.

Obviously, with how successful Game of Thrones is, Turner is a huge mainstay at any Con that can get her. There have been some great cast panels for Thrones over the years at Comic-Cons around the world and those have surely helped keep the love for the show going as long as it did. Turner also always rocks a great look no matter the event.

Turner co-starred in this 2015 action-comedy from A24 films. Since Sansa didn't really get to kick that much butt over eight seasons of Thrones, it's cool to see Turner flex her action chops in this crazy spy flick.

Turner was considered for the Outstanding Supporting Actress Emmy in 2019 for Game of Thrones and was also nominated with the cast for several honors including the SAG Awards' Outstanding Ensemble Performance trophy.

She was also nominated for a Saturn Award and a Young Artist Award for Thrones, and her performance as Jean Grey / Dark Phoenix got a Teen Choice Award nom in 2019.

Turner debuted as a younger version of Jean Grey in the film X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016 and got her own solo vehicle, Dark Phoenix, in 2019.

Turner and Williams showed up for their co-star's beautiful wedding ceremony in 2018, when Kit Harington married his onscreen love interest, Rose Leslie, who played Ygritte.

Turner is joining in on a "Baby Shark" performance on the late-night program, but this wasn't her only screen credit that year. She also acted in two films: the thriller Josie, and the sci-fi dramedy Time Freak, between acting in X-Men films and Thrones seasons.

Turner struck up a romance with Joe Jonas in 2016, and they later married in May of 2019 in Las Vegas. They have two daughters, born in 2020 and 2022, and reside mostly in New York City.

Turner is speaking at a press conference with Jessica Chastain, who plays the villain in X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Turner gave a great performance here, but the film was not a box-office success.

Turner has built up a solid repertoire in the thriller genre, and she certainly held her own in this crime film from 2019. She even pulls off a pretty passable American accent, which you can also hear in her X-Men performances.

Clearly, being married to a Jonas Brother has some perks, and it looks like both Turner and the singer Lizzo are geeking out over getting to meet each other. She isn't a singer herself but has lent her acting chops to a couple of Jonas Brothers music videos.

Turner had just gotten off Game of Thrones before 2020 rolled around, and she didn't do much acting that year. One fun exception was when she joined many actors in recording a home movie version of The Princess Bride.

Turner played the role of Westley, and her corgi was even cast in the production as a monster known as the R.O.U.S. (aka Rodents of Unusual Size).

Turner had a small role in this 2022 dark teen comedy from Netflix. A clip from the film where her character yells "This is insane! I don't even do cocaine!" had a brief moment of virality on Twitter, so she really made the most of this brief appearance.

Turner had a supporting role in this HBO Max true crime drama miniseries The Staircase, which aired on May 5, 2022. The series is based on a 2004 documentary by Jean-Xavier Lestrade and writes him into the story as his own character played by Vincent Vermingon.

Turner is getting another true-crime miniseries under her belt, this time as the lead in Joan, based on the memoirs of a real jewel thief, Joan Hannington. This is set to film in the Spring of 2023, but it seems like a perfect role for Turner.
