Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's 18-year-old daughter Shiloh has reportedly filed to drop "Pitt" from her last name, and apparently her dad isn't thrilled.

This news—first reported by TMZcomes amid the former couple's 15-year-old daughter Vivienne being credited as "Vivienne Jolie" in the playbill for The Outsiders, and months after their eldest daughter Zahara introduced herself as "Zahara Marley Jolie" when joining the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Shiloh reportedly filed paperwork to change her legal name from Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Jolie on her 18th birthday (May 27). It's unclear whether or not Brad was informed of the move ahead of time, but the news hasn't been easy to process.

“He’s aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name," a source tells People. "He’s never felt more joy than when she was born. He always wanted a daughter. The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad."

The insider adds that Brad is "still happy" with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon," but that distance from his kids—Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax, Knox, and Vivienne—"pains him." Another source says that the actor "still loves all of his kids tremendously" and that "this whole process has been very hard for the whole family."

As for how Angelina Jolie feels about all of this, Entertainment Tonight spoke to a source who confirmed that "Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn't know and can't speak for it."
