"Someday or One Day" wins big at Golden Bell Awards

29 Sep – The time-travelling series "Someday or One Day" became the big winner at the recently held 55th Golden Bell Awards.

As reported on Epoch Times, the series which stars Alice Ko and Greg Hsu, bagged four major awards out of the six nominations it received during the event held 26 September - including Best TV Series and Best Actress for Alice Ko.

It also won Best Innovative Programme, as well as Best Writing for a TV Series.

The series tells the story of a 27-year-old woman who travels back in time to 1998 and wakes up in the body of a high school student.

On the other hand, "The Making of an Ordinary Woman", which is currently available on Netflix, won Best TV Mini-series.

The major winners of the 55th Golden Bell Awards are:

Best TV Series: "Someday or One Day"

Best TV Movie: "Lucky Draw"

Best TV Director: Kao Pin-chuan, Tseng Ying-ting ("Yong Jiu Grocery Store")

Best Actor in a Mini-series/TV Movie: You An-shun ("Lucky Draw")
Best Actress in a Mini-series/TV Movie: Wu Yi-rung ("Dear Orange")

Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series: Mario Pu ("Island Nation")
Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series: Janel Tsai ("Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner")

Best Supporting Actor in a Mini-series: You An-shun ("Blindman Ah Qing")
Best Supporting Actress in a Mini-series: Yu Tzi-yu ("The Making of an Ordinary Woman")

Best Newcomer: Moon Lee ("The Victim's Game")

Best Cinematography: "Nowhere Man"
