Soleil Moon Frye is remembering Shifty Shellshock of Crazy Town as someone who "loved my children and I so unconditionally."

On Sunday, June 30, the Punky Brewster alum shared an emotional tribute to Instagram in honor of her late ex-boyfriend — who was found dead at his Los Angeles home on June 24 at age 49.

Frye — who was confirmed to be dating the vocalist (real name Seth Binzer) in 2021 — wrote in a candid caption over the weekend that her heart was "whispering a million I love you’s."

"I can still see your smiling sweet face in middle school when you kissed me in your tunnel of love and the way you swept me away again as we grew up to show me what that timeless kind of love feels like," Frye wrote, noting that the pair knew each other when they were young.

"No words could ever express the love we shared or how we are feeling right now. It is a language all its own," she added. "So for now I will use every bit of strength you showed me to hold on to those words you asked me in your beautiful morning gravilly voice on the beach while covering me with kisses. 'To the people we have lost we will see them again down the road, right?'"

Frye then answered her own question, writing: "I believe we will Seth."

"And when we do, the most charming bad ass tattooed angel in mismatched shoes, who taught me how to drink up life again will be standing there with the biggest smile," Frye wrote. "I will instantly see your moon on fire cheek welcoming your family, friends, fans and loved ones under loving double rainbow arches… I love you forever and always. Your Moonfire xx."

In the post, Frye shared multiple photos of herself and her late ex, including shots of him holding her close, posing in a photo booth and kissing on a beach. One image showed the Crazy Town frontman hanging up Christmas lights with Frye and her children.

Frye is mom to daughters Poet Sienna Rose and Jagger Joseph Blue, as well as sons Lyric Sonny Roads and Story. Binzer was dad to sons Halo, Gage and Phoenix, per The Sun.

Binzer's manager Howie Hubberman confirmed to PEOPLE last week that the musician died of an accidental drug overdose, writing that he wasn't "able to reach out on a more successful level to deal with his addictions."

"The cause of death was a combination of prescription drugs and street purchased drugs," he wrote. "Shifty was a friend and really wanted to get himself fixed — unfortunately no one had the exact tools to do this, myself included."

Since his death, the “Butterfly” singer's family shared in a statement with The Sun that his “proudest accomplishments” were his children. “To Seth, the world was art — he loved every part of it, from music and fashion to graffiti, skateboarding and his hometown of Los Angeles,” the statement read. “He loved his three boys more than anything, and his dedication to his music and fans never wavered.”

The family wrote that Binzer "struggled with addiction throughout his life" and "tried so hard to beat his demons but sadly he lost his battle."

“Our hearts are shattered by his loss. Seth's larger-than-life presence touched so many,” the statement continued. “Seth was a troubled soul but he was a beautiful one and he had a heart of gold.”
