Softshell turtle rescued from nostril hook

A softshell turtle was rescued from a fishing hook pierced to its nostril by a veterinary doctor in western India on September 28. After treatment, the turtle was released back to its natural habitat. According to the forest department, the species are seen in the rivers of Gir Junagadh Gujarat.
