Sofía Vergara's Sexy Yellow Birthday Dress Perfectly Matched Her Cake

The actress hosted a birthday dinner attended by Heidi Klum, boyfriend Justin Saliman and her son Manolo on July 10

Cancer season just got a little more glamorous thanks to Sofía Vergara, who celebrated another trip around the sun in style.

On July 10, the America’s Got Talent judge turned 52 and hosted a party with close friends and family.

The Modern Family alum leaned into a decidedly bold color, opting for a strapless lemon yellow dress featuring a low-cut sweetheart neckline and thigh-high slit, two Vergara style signatures. She rounded out the look with towering gold ankle-strap heels and a statement necklace that matched her earrings.

When it came to hair and makeup, Vergara didn’t stray far away from her her signature soft smoky eye, nude lip and sleek middle-parted blowout.

Vergara posted a full outfit shot of her look to her Instagram Stories, as well as multiple other photos and videos from the night.

She posed with gold, yellow and white balloons hinting at her party's color code, which also made its way to the dinner table when a ornately-decorated bright yellow cake served to her along with a second cake decorated with a picture of her face on it.

It’s no surprise that Vergara doubled down on the desserts, though. In her 2024 PEOPLE Beautiful Issue cover story, she admitted to having an “addiction to sweets” that she’s tried to overcome with hypnotism — but to no avail. "And I have come to terms with it,” she said.

Heidi Klum, Vergara’s boyfriend, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, Anastasia Soare, brow guru and CEO of Anastasia Beverly Hills, and more attended Vergara’s get-together.

“Happy Birthday my beautiful smart and most important funny @sofiavergara. I love you so much ,” Klum, 51, captioned a photo of her and her AGT co-star in each other’s arms at the dinner table. She wore a lace all-black look to the function.

Vergara is still in the early years of her 50s, but she’s come to appreciate the lessons it’s brought to her life thus far. “It’s all the knowledge. That’s all. I’ve never really cared that much about what people think. But now I really care less,” she told PEOPLE.
