Sofía Vergara is opening up about life as a single lady!

The Griselda star, 51, said she hopes to “spend more time” in N.Y.C as she prefers the men there on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“I love it, who doesn’t love New York City?" Vergara told host Jimmy Fallon, 49.

"It’s the people, it’s the energy. I think that you have more options with men also. I’m single now!”

“So, in New York there’s not only like actors or directors, I think...I’m going to spend more time in New York,” she added with a smile.

“And also there’s great food here in New York, too,” Fallon chipped in.

“There’s great food for when you go out on dates. It’s better, yes,” the actress agreed.

Vergara's comments come amid her divorce from Joe Manganiello, 47, after seven years of marriage which was announced in July.

And in November it seemed that the actress was already getting into the swing of dating as she was spotted having dinner with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman in Los Angeles.

Elsewhere on the show, Vergara opened up about her Modern Family reunion back in November.

“We didn’t see each other for almost, I mean it was going to be four years until I did this thing in my house in November,” Vergara said of the get-together with her costars.

"It was weird, it was crazy because we were together 11 years, five days a week. It was hard because we were always on chats.”

Fallon then asked Vergara if she’d be up for a reboot of the show, which ended in 2020.

“It’s only been four years, it doesn’t seem right,” Vergara responded.

"I feel like we need a little more time...well, we don’t have much time because Eddie is old!” she joked of former costar Ed O’Neil who is 77.

The actress also discussed her latest casting as Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco in the upcoming Netflix series, Griselda, revealing she felt she was perfect for the role.

“I grew up in the ‘70s, the ‘80s, the ‘90s and everybody knew who the [Blanco family] were,” Vergara said.

"I know that business. My brother was part of that business, he was killed in the ‘90s," she added, referring to her late brother Rafael.

"I was very, like, ‘I know this character, I think I can do it,' " Vergara continued. "I lived there, unfortunately.”

In 2011, Vergara opened up to PEOPLE about the death of her brother Rafael, who was fatally shot in an attempted kidnapping in 1998, per Parade. The actress called the incident "a nightmare."

Griselda premieres on Netflix on Jan. 25.
