'So much space opened up in my trunk': This $16 organizer gives you way more storage — and it's over 50% off
What's the back of your car like? Is it organized, or is it a mess that you pass off as "controlled chaos?" Keeping a frequently-used vehicle organized can be a bit of a nightmare, and even though there are plenty of in-trunk organizers, they still get in the way and take up a lot of cargo space that you might want to use for groceries or other things. The Oasser Back Seat Hanging Organizer is here to save the day, and it's massively marked down at Amazon.
With six total pockets — two flaps, one mesh and three transparent — this is a great alternative to boxes scattered through the trunk area.
Why is this a good deal? 💰
This organizer is over 50% off and on par with the lowest price we've seen this year. That's a great deal on its own, but what you're really paying for is convenience and space. A flat tire is always a pain, but it's worse when you have to move heavy things out of the way so you can get to your spare storage.
What reviewers say? 🤔
If you have a car, then there are certain things that you need to carry with you. Jumper cables, a first aid or earthquake kit, maybe a warm blanket in case of a breakdown — for a person who likes to be prepared, the possibilities are endless. This organizer makes it easy to keep everything within arm's reach, all while leaving the floor of the cargo area clear for things like groceries, your kids' bookbags, etc.
If you have an SUV or a hatchback, it attaches through three hook loop fasteners for a secure fit that will also prevent it from swinging while you're driving. Unfortunately, four-door sedans with trunks are incompatible, unless you hang this doodad on the back of the front seats, taking up back seat legroom (then it kind of defeats the "extra space-making" purpose).
What's more, it has a recommended maximum weight of 50 pounds. That's not bad at all, especially for the day-to-day supplies you might keep in your car.
What reviewers say 💬
This product is something of a hidden gem — so far just under 2,000 people have given it a five-star review.
Pros 👍
Customers had a lot to say about its storage capacity. "So much space opened up in my trunk now," one fan wrote. "I used to have a junk basket full of stuff in my trunk that occupied a third of my trunk space, but now my whole trunk floor is open! I love the fact that now things are more visible and I don't have to dig down the junk basket to try to find things."
Another shared, "Perfect for my car. I hated things rolling around in my cargo area. Now all my emergency stuff is in one place secured and quiet."
Many users also said that it fits their vehicles like a glove. "This fits the back seat of my 2024 Jeep Wrangler perfectly. The velcro keeps it in place," wrote one.
Cons 👎
Most shoppers had a great experience with the organizer, but there were a few complaints. "It was nice to have easy visual access to items that stayed in the car. The only drawback is that because the pockets are large, they can droop forward with heavier items. I’ll definitely buy another for myself if I ever switch to an SUV!" said one driver.
Another person warned that cloth seats are the better pick. "Since it Velcros, you must have cloth seats for it to sit flush." If you have leather seats, just be warned that it might not sit perfectly against the back of the seat.
If something spills in the organizer, no worries — it's easy to clean, and the tough Oxford cloth material can stand up to a lot of abuse.
