Snowy Start to May in Michigan's Upper Peninsula Amid Winter Storm Warnings
May got off to a snowy start in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, as a winter storm warning was issued for the area, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
This footage was captured by Dan Salmon, who said he filmed it from his home in Marquette on Monday morning.
In other parts of the region, local media reported heavy snow accumulations could lead to power outages and and treacherous travel conditions.
