Snowplows Work Together on Washington Interstate
Drivers faced snowy, blustery conditions in western Washington on Thursday, March 2, with officials warning residents to “get ready” for more snow over the next 24 hours.
Video posted by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) shows a team of snowplows working on Interstate 90 near the Snoqualmie Pass summit on Thursday.
“This is how we plow. In tandem, sweeping the snow from one blade to another, getting the powder off the highway,” the department wrote on Twitter.
A winter weather advisory was in effect for Snoqualmie Pass until Friday morning, as the NWS warned of snow accumulations up to a foot and wind gusts as high as 40 mph. Credit: Snoqualmie Pass via Storyful
