Snow and Wind Hit Central Nebraska, Prompting Travel Warnings

A hazardous weather outlook was issued for central Nebraska, with strong wind gusts and snow forecast for February 3-4.

The National Weather Service said the snow was forecast to stop on Thursday morning but that northerly winds of 35 to 40 mph would continue until late in the afternoon.

Blowing snow with accumulations of up to two inches was expected, reducing visibility and creating hazardous road conditions.
