Snow Nearly as High as House's Roof in California's Tahoe Region

A ski resort in the Lake Tahoe region reported that it had received more than three feet of snow in 24 hours and said its mountains were closed on February 28 due to a series of winter storms.

Footage posted to Twitter by user @LakeGirl530 shows piles of snow obscuring a house in the Lake Tahoe region of California. The caption read, “Truck stuck. Snow to the roof. It’s nuts.”

The California Highway Patrol said sections of Interstate 80 remained closed on Wednesday morning. Credit: @LakeGirl530 via Storyful
