Snow Falls Over Milan Cathedral as Winter Weather Causes Disruption

At least seven inches of snow fell in the northern Italian city of Milan on Monday, December 28, causing widespread travel disruption, city officials said.

This footage shows snowy conditions outside Milan Cathedral, as lockdown restrictions were eased.

City workers were out in the early hours of the morning in an effort to clear roads and entrances to subway stations, hospitals, and public offices, while parks were closed after the snow caused tree branches to collapse, according to officials. Credit: @ale_sid via Storyful
