A winter weather advisory was issued for Kit Carson and Yuma counties in Kansas on January 25, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of hazardous travel conditions.
The NWS said it expected to see between three and 8 inches of snow across the tri-county area on January 25 and 26.
Video shared by the NWS in Goodland, Kansas, showed snow falling just outside the forecast office in the city.
