Snoozing Moose Removed From Construction Site in Utah

A moose was removed from a construction site in Centerville, Utah, on Saturday, February 25, after she decided to take a nap on some fresh concrete.

According to the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR), the adult cow moose was tranquilized and safely released near the East Canyon Reservoir.

The Centerville Police Department assisted in relocating the moose, and posted images of officers with the tranquilized animal.

“Who doesn’t like looking at moose pics, especially when they’re gorked out on tranquilizers with their tongue hanging out,” the caption read. Credit: Utah DWR via Storyful
