‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Season 11 Premiere Date Announced (TV News Roundup)
Bravo announced that the 11th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” will premiere on May 19 at 8 p.m.
After months of isolation at home, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke are ecstatic to expand their social bubbles and meet new housewives Crystal Kung Minkoff and Kathy Hilton. This season, Kyle will feel the pressure to keep her family close, Lisa will struggle to find quality time with her daughters and Erika will share the news about her divorce from famed attorney Tom Giardi. Meanwhile, Dorit will design a line of fashion-forward wedding dresses and Garcelle will step into her dream job of hosting a daytime talk show.

HBO announced that the fourth season of “In Treatment” will return on May 23 at 9 p.m. on HBO with two back-to-back episodes. Set in present-day Los Angeles, the reimagining of the series brings a diverse trio of patients in session with the observant, empathetic Dr. Broke Taylor (Uzo Aduba). They will navigate a variety of modern concerns, including the global pandemic as well as recent social and cultural shifts. “In Treatment” also stars Anthony Ramos, Liza Colón-Zayas, John Benjamin Hickey, Quintessa Swindell and Joel Kinnaman. Jennifer Schuur, Joshua Allen, Stephen Levinson, Mark Wahlberg, Melissa Bernstein and Hagai Levi serve as executive producers, while Joanne Toll and Noa Tishby serve as co-executive producers.
FIRST LOOKS
Apple TV Plus released the trailer for Season 2 of “Mythic Quest,” which will premiere to the streamer on May 7 with the first two episodes of the nine-episode season. Following the success of the Raven’s Banquet video game, the new season sees that most of the team has returned to the office to help launch an epic new expansion. However, Ian (Rob McElhenney) and newly promoted co-creative director Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) struggle with the game’s direction. In the meantime, the rest of the team is figuring out issues of their own. C.W. (F. Murray Abraham) reconciles unresolved issues from his past; the testers (Ashly Burch and Imani Hakim) test not just video games, but an office romance, and David grapples with losing yet another woman in his life when Jo (Jessie Ennis) leaves him to assist Brad (Danny Pudi). Getting along with your co-workers after all, as the trailer asserts, is a full-time job. The series will also feature Naomi Ekperigin, Caitlin McGee, Humphrey Ker, Chris Naoki Lee and Jonathan Wiggs. Snoop Dogg, who appears in the trailer is one of the new season’s guest stars. “Drunk History” creator and actor Derek Waters is another. “Mythic Quest” was created by McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz. They executive produce alongside Michael Rotenberg, Nicholas Frenkel, Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik, Gérard Guillemot and Hornsby. A special standalone episode, “Everlight,” will stream ahead of the new series premiere on April 16.
Netflix released a trailer for the new reality series “Pet Stars,” which will premiere on April 30. The five-episode series will explore the responsibilities of Colleen Wilson and Melissa May Curtis, who run a talent management agency called Pets on Q. As they work with the biggest animal influencers on social media, viewers will see how they run their business securing partnerships for pets and how they work with rescues to highlight animals in need of a better life.
GREENLIGHTS
Epix has greenlit “From,” a 10-episode contemporary sci-fi horror series created by John Griffin. The series will commence production this May in Halifax, NS, with an eye towards a 2022 premiere. “From” is a co-production between Epix Studios and MGM International Television Productions, and is produced by Midnight Radio and Agbo. Jack Bender, who will direct the first four episodes, serves as an executive producer alongside Griffin, Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg for Midnight Radio, and Anthony and Joe Russo and Mike Larocca for Agbo. Midnight Radio’s Adrienne Erickson will serve as co-executive producer.
PROGRAMMING
The History Channel announced four new documentaries that will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. “Revealed: The Hunt For Bin Laden,” which is co-produced by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, will premiere May 2 on the 10th anniversary of Bin Laden’s capture. Programming airing on September 10 and 11 will include “9/11: Four Flights,” which tells the story of those aboard the doomed jetliners, “Rise and Fall: The World Trade Center,” which chronicles the conception, construction and destruction of the Twin Towers, and “9/11: From the Ground Up,” which presents an intimate portrayal of September 11, 2001 from ordinary people who chose to pick up their video cameras on that day. “Revealed: The Hunt For Bin Laden” is co-produced by The 9/11 Memorial & Museum and Northern Light Productions and executive produced by Clifford Chanin, Zachary Behr and Eli Lehrer with producers Jessica Chen, Jen Mackie Young and Andrew Kukura, who also directs. “9/11: Four Flights” and “Rise and Fall: The World Trade Center” are produced by Ledt/Right, with Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver, Jon Meyersohn, Mike Mezaros, Mike Stiller and Mary E. Donahue executive producing. “9/11: From the Ground Up” is produced by Brook Lapping Productions in co-production with ITV and France Télévisions, with Greg Sanderson, Karen Edwards, Zachary Behr and Brad Holcman serving as executive producers.

Heavy Metal Entertainment announced the launch of its Heavy Metal Podcast Network with the debut of “Heavy Metal Magazine: The Podcast,” which premieres on April 28. Hosted by writers Brendan Columbus (Savage Circus) and Lea Palmieri (Director at Decider.com), the bi-montly podcast will celebrate and critique all things Heavy Metal. Columbus and Palmieri will discuss new and classic stories featured in the monthly magazine, dive into Heavy Metal’s comic books and lead interviews with creators. The podcast is produced by Heavy Metal Entertainment CEO Matthew Medney, David Erwin, Rob Schulte and Tommy Coriale.
LATE NIGHT
