New Mexico resident Shirley Estes captured video of a smoke cloud looming over the Angus campground in Ruidoso on April 26, as an orange haze from the Three Rivers Fire blanketed the sky.
Estes told Storyful she shot the video as she was helping friends evacuate their home that is located close to the fire line.
A wildfire prompted evacuation notices for several areas in Lincoln County, New Mexico, on Monday as the blaze grew to more than 4,000 acres, according to reports. As of Tuesday morning, the fire had burned 6,100 acres, officials said.
