Smoke From Mosquito Fire Covers Northern California Interstate

The Mosquito fire burning in Northern California covered 46,587 acres and was 10 percent contained on Monday, September 12, according to Cal Fire.

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office reported that 11,260 people have been evacuated and 5,848 homes have been threatened in both El Dorado County and Placer County.
