Refrigerators: They're fairly important necessities in the kitchen (or office or bar), but they're not really that...exciting. That is to say, for all the lusting I do about various home goods, never did I think I'd see the day where I'd spot a fridge and think "I MUST have that." Well, folks, today is that day. For its latest collaboration with Italian fashion label Dolce & Gabbana (you may remember the crazy colorful appliances that kicked off their first collab—the Kardashains are fans), Smeg unveiled a blue-and-white pattern inspired by antique tiles of Sicily.

Dubbed Majolica for the type of glazed tile common around Italy and Portugal, the line made its initial debut at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2018, but the appliances have just hit the U.S. market, where they're available at Neiman Marcus.

Already have a fridge you like? Fear not: You can bring the Sicilian look to your kitchen with the Majolica oven or hood, also available from Neiman Marcus. Fair warning: The products aren't cheap per se—the oven and fridge are each $10,000 and the hood $5,000. But compared to the cost of booking a ticket to Sicily and buying a tole-covered villa, they're a steal. Plus, just imagine how much better your mornings will be when you're opening your Majolica refrigerator to pull out a pitcher of fresh-squeezed orange juice, all while the sun streams in on you, dressed in an effortlessly chic linen dress—instead of your usual stumbling into the kitchen in rumpled pajamas to fumble around for a carton of Tropicana in that ugly white plastic thing the landlord stuck in there. Consider it a lifestyle upgrade.
